Beauty of the Dead

Long time no art? I know. All these exams and preperation for the next steps in my life are fucking killing me, and it doesn't help that I have to wait until my brother goes to bed to upload pictures - and usually then I either fall asleep at my desk or crawl into bed telling myself that I'll do it at the weekend - which I never do. So, this piece here was my final piece for a project called 'Beauty' WHICH I ONLY GOT A FUCKING B IN - BECAUSE THAT PRICK HATES MY GUTS. I don't want to sound too big headed or whatever - yes I'm happy with a B, but with all the work and effort I put into this project I admit I was expecting an A. It was inspired mainly by Marilyn Manson - ikr weird. But he did these watercolours of like dead bodies and shit and it's so cool. I first of all did this by accident, I made a drawing of a naked girl (WHICH I DREW FROM A BARBIE DOLL - MEDAL PLEASE) and made this, then I traced over my original drawing on a light box with a fine liner and did a watercolour paiting - completely unintentionally I made her look like a dead body that had died from drowning or whatever. I really like that ink running into blues and stuff cos it looks like bruising and I'm just generall fucking happy with this piece.
